Community rules
They apply to every group. There are few of them because few get read.
These groups work because the people posting trust the people reading, and the other way round. The rules exist only to keep that trust.

Post in the right group
Rooms in the listings group, questions in the Forum, work in Job Offers, furniture in Buy & Sell. A message in the wrong group gets moved or removed.

One post per listing
No reposting every two hours to stay at the top. If the room is still free after a week, post it again: not before.

Always price and area
A listing without a price or an area wastes everyone's time. Write at least: room type, monthly price, bills included or not, area, and when it is free.

No one else's personal data
Do not post numbers, surnames, addresses or screenshots of conversations involving other people. Not even to complain about someone.

No agencies, no spam
These groups are between students. Agencies, paid services, referrals and chain messages are removed without warning.

Respect, always
No discrimination based on origin, gender, orientation, religion or disability. A listing may say “female only” or “male only” for living arrangements; it may not exclude people by nationality or ethnicity.

Never ask for money before the viewing
Asking for a deposit before the other person has seen the place is the number one scam signal. Anyone doing it is removed and reported.

Report instead of arguing
If something looks wrong, message us privately instead of starting an argument in the group. We will look into it.
What happens if you break them
The first time we remove the message and tell you privately. If it happens again, you are out of the group. For scams and for anyone asking for money before a viewing there is no first time: immediate removal from every group and from the site.
Reporting something
Message us privately on WhatsApp or use the “Report listing” button on the site. Reports stay anonymous: we never tell anyone who reported them.
